4th Annual Caribbean Heritage Month 2026 – Event Schedule

Celebrate Caribbean culture, heritage, and community with The Council of Caribbean Organizations of Manitoba. Mark your calendars for these three exciting upcoming events!

1. Opening Ceremony

Kick off Caribbean Heritage Month with an evening of community, music, and official guest speakers.

  • Location: Legislative Building – 450 Broadway

  • What to Expect: A special guest speaker, live entertainment, music by Jedi Sounds, and light refreshments.

2. Picnic in the Park

Gather your family and friends for a vibrant outdoor afternoon celebrating community spirit.

  • Date: Sunday, July 12, 2026

  • Time: 12:30 pm – 6:00 pm

  • Location: Crescent Drive Park – Picnic Site 1-ID

  • What to Expect: A relaxed, fun-filled park day surrounded by food, community, and culture.

3. Art & Cultural Display

Immerse yourself in the rich artistic traditions of the Caribbean through music, dance, and creative displays.

  • Date: Sunday, August 2, 2026

  • Time: 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

  • Location: Jamaica Hall – 1098 Winnipeg Ave

  • What to Expect: Cultural song and dance performances, special musical acts, music by DJ Vibesman, and refreshments.
